Une femme, un enfant, bientôt deux. Matyas, orphelin et jeune père de famille, mène la vie dont il a été privé. A l'occasion d'une convocation chez un notaire pour une succession, il apprend l'existence de sa mère..., et d'un frère jumeau, Thomas. Dès lors Thomas n'aura de cesse de rattraper le temps perdu, tandis que Matyas, qui s'est découvert un autre lui-même, va tenter de reconstruire le puzzle de son enfance. Plus il fait la lumière sur son passé, plus son futur s'assombrit... Finalement, le jour où Matyas s'est retrouvé, il s'est peut-être perdu.

Gabbeh (1996) is a film by Iranian director Mohsen Makhmalbaf. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1996 Cannes Film Festival. The film gets its name from a type of Persian rug and starts by showing an elderly couple, carrying their Gabbeh, walking toward the river hoping to wash their rug. When the rug is spread on the ground, a girl, referred to as Gabbeh, magically comes out of it. The movie follows her story and audience learn about her family, her uncle who is hoping to find a bride, and most importantly her longing for a young man she hopes to marry.

Hud is an anti-hero, selfish, cocky, amoral, unscrupulous, crude, hard-drinking, irresponsible, hedonistic, and known as a "Cadillac cowboy." He conspicuously parks his pink convertible outside homes of married women.

His actions lead to his reassignment to a remote post in remote South Dakota, where he encounters the Sioux. Attracted by the natural simplicity of their lifestyle, he chooses to leave his former life behind to join them, taking on the name "Dances with Wolves"...

Over the course of three years, director Andre Gregory and a group of actors came together on a voluntary basis in order to better understand Chekhov's work through performance workshops. Staged and filmed entirely within the vacant shell of the then-abandoned Amsterdam Theater on 42nd Street in New York City, they enacted the play rehearsal style on a bare stage with the actors in street clothes. Free from any commercial demands, their performances were for an invited audience only. Gregory and Malle decided to document the play as they had developed it. The film was the result of the collaborative process.

In each case, Won-joo's protagonist is a "charming French visitor" named Anne (Isabelle Huppert): in the first section, she's a famous filmmaker visiting a fellow Korean director Jong-soo (Kwon Hae-hyo) and his very pregnant and jealous wife Geum-hee (Moon So-ri)...

Ned Racine, an inept and rather sleazy Florida lawyer, becomes entangled with Matty Walker, a ruthless femme fatale who is plotting to murder her wealthy husband Edmund and collect his entire estate. Racine's lust for Matty is such that he agrees to help her commit the murder. He enlists the help of one of his shadier clients, Teddy Lewis, an expert on incendiary devices, to help him cover up the crime. All seems to have gone well until an unknown person begins feeding the prosecutor's office bits of incriminating evidence. Reluctantly, Racine's best friends, soft-shoe-dancing District Attorney Peter Lowenstein and police detective Oscar Grace, begin to follow the guilty couple's trail.

The film opens with a mysterious stranger, his face swathed in bandages and his eyes obscured by dark spectacles, taking a room at an inn at the English village of Iping (in Sussex). Never leaving his quarters, the stranger demands that the staff leave him completely alone. However, his dark secret is slowly revealed to his suspicious landlady and the villagers: he is an invisible man. When the innkeeper (Forrester Harvey) and his semi-hysterical wife (Una O'Connor) tell him to leave after he makes a huge mess in the parlor and drives away the other patrons, he tears off the bandages, laughing maniacally, and throws the innkeeper down the stairs. He takes off the rest of his clothes, rendering himself completely invisible, and tries to strangle a police officer.

Thirty years old and single, Poppy (née Pauline) Cross shares a London flat with her best friend Zoe. When her bicycle is stolen, Poppy decides to take driving lessons for the first time in her life. Her driving instructor, Scott, is emotionally repressed, plagued with anger problems, and given to conspiracy theories, racism, and misogyny. His student's bubbly personality and apparent lack of responsibility initially annoy him, but as the lessons progress he develops an attraction towards her which she does not return. Poppy is devoted to her students, but her life isn't dominated by her vocation. She takes flamenco lessons and a trampoline class, and she and her younger sister and friends enjoy an occasional evening in the local pub. She seemingly has no fear of strangers, taking the time to interact with a slightly crazed homeless man while on the way home one night. When one of Poppy's pupils begins bullying his classmates, social worker Tim is brought in to handle the boy's case, and before long the two begin dating.

The definitive New York movie, and one of the few to successfully integrate rock music into the structure of film: watch Keitel waking to the sound of the Ronettes, or De Niro dancing solo in the street to 'Mickey's Monkey'. Mean Streets is also pure Italian-American. Charlie (Keitel), a punk on the fringes of 'respectable' organised crime, ponders his adolescent confusions and loyalties. Beneath the swagger, he's embarrassed by his work, his religion, and by women and his friends, particularly Johnny Boy (De Niro), who owes everyone money. Scorsese directs with a breathless, head-on energy which infuses the performances, the sharp fast talk, the noise, neon and violence with a charge of adrenalin. One of the best American films of this decade.

Avec son ami Noël, Bruno crée de la musique électronique. Il ne vit que pour sa recherche musicale. Bruno écoute, enregistre et compose. En même temps qu'il est en passe de signer avec une productrice, il tombe amoureux d'une voix féminine (Lisa) qu'il écoute sur un réseau téléphonique. Ils se retrouvent quelques nuits dans une chambre d'hôtel et dans l'obscurité, avant que Lisa ne disparaisse. Obsédé par cette rencontre fugace, il va se lancer à la recherche de cette femme dont il ne subsiste que quelques éléments sonores : soupirs, voix, redonnements. Avec ces fragments qui sont autant de jalons de leur brève histoire, il va tenter d'écrire un morceau qui viendra sublimer cet amour impossible. Au terme de son aventure nocturne et musicale ponctuée de personnages étrangement inquiétants, Bruno parviendra à enregistrer son disque.
